Tug-E-Nuff’s Positive Playtime podcast is back for a new season

Tug-E-Nuff’s Positive Playtime podcast is back for a second season of six episodes this August.

Danny Nelis-Rouse, owner of Tug-E-Nuff, the award-winning tug toy brand exclusively for dogs, will return to host the podcast.

Throughout the season, he’ll be joined by a number of top dog trainers, behaviourists and pet experts to uncover the secrets of positive reinforcement, enrichment and canine play.

The first three Positive Playtime episodes will include:

●    ‘Can yellow space zones help your reactive dog cope?’ with Sarah Jones, founder of My Anxious Dog and the #DogsInYellow campaign
Exploring Sarah’s work supporting reactive dogs - from creative Yellow Space Zones at dog events, to developing everyday tools to help dogs feel calmer - as well as the small ways owners can make life easier for anxious dogs.

●    ‘Helping kids and dogs get along: safe play tips every parent needs’ with Debby Lucken, founder of Kids Around Dogs
A closer look at how safe, structured play can prevent accidents between kids and dogs while building stronger bonds. Expect advice on common challenges, choosing safe toys and some simple games families can try at home.

●    ‘Why dogs wear muzzles: changing the conversation and support dogs who need them’ with Annie Dowell, community education and engagement officer at The Muzzle Movement
Challenging the stigma around muzzle use, this episode will explore the many reasons dogs might wear muzzles, how to introduce them in a positive way and why they can be a sign of responsible ownership.

Commenting on the new season, Danny said: “Recording the second season of Positive Playtime was so much fun and I can’t wait for people to be able to listen to the conversations I had with our guests - each of whom provided valuable insight into the vibrant world of dogs, play and the power of tug.

“I hope the new season of Positive Playtime helps even more owners understand and improve the relationship they have with their dogs, and better solve any training or behaviour issues they might be facing - all whilst having lots of fun.”

Episodes will be released a week at a time, starting from Wednesday 27th August. Each episode will be 40 minutes or less, and available to listen to on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music and YouTube
