Shock absorbing bungee handle reduces impact on dog’s neck & spine (and handler’s shoulders).
No-squeak lure: Machine washable at 30 degrees. Brush the faux fur with a slicker brush and leave to air dry.
Squeaky lure: Wipe clean only - do not submerge in water. Brush with a slicker and wipe clean with a damp cloth then hang to dry.
The golden rule: Keep your Tug-E-Nuff toy for interactive, supervised play only. While made to withstand enthusiastic play, this is not a chew toy. Always keep out of reach when you’re not present and actively playing with your dog.

Why Choose a Whip It Flirt Pole?
Tire your dog out the fun and easy way - without exhausting yourself.
For dogs with endless energy and short attention spans, nothing beats the stimulating movement of flirt pole play. With an enticing blue soft fluffy lure and a sturdy yet lightweight pole, this is the toy you’ll both be excited to play with over and over again.
The carabiner attachment keeps your lure securely attached - so your dog can’t grab and run. Because the best play happens close to you.
Our signature reinforced bungee cord keeps movement flexible and absorbs shock to protect your dog’s neck and spine - and your shoulders.
And the toy isn’t just colourful for fun - it’s blue for a reason. It's one of the colours dogs see best, helping them stay focused on chasing, pouncing, and catching - the most fun part of the game.
Best for:
- Tiring out energetic dogs
- Teaching impulse control and ‘wait’ cues
- Channelling prey drive into positive play
It’s your go to toy for bonding time that burns off steam while your dog chases, pounces, and grabs.
Questions & Answers
-
Yes - a flirt pole is brilliant for mental and physical stimulation. Always play on a non-slip surface such as grass or carpet, to help your dog control their movement. Keep the lure low so your dog doesn’t jump and twist - and your flirt pole play will be fun, safe and very satisfying for both of you!
-
Start by warming your dog up with slow movements before making things more animated. Once your dog’s warmed up, keep the toy low to the ground and flick or swoop the toy for your dog to chase. Let your dog catch their prey so frustration doesn’t build - then ask them to drop - before rewarding their self control with another round of chase fun. Check out the videos below for more help with this.
-
Yes - flirt pole fans say 10-15 minutes of play leaves their dog fulfiled, happy and ready for a nap! It’s a top pick for dogs who either can’t have long walks or for days when long walks just aren’t enough. They’re also a lifesaver for when it’s too hot, wet, or cold to get outside.
-
If your dog chases other dogs, birds or even joggers - they already have a natural urge to chase. Using a flirt pole gives your dog a safe and controlled outlet for that behaviour - which can reduce their desire to meet the need in less appropriate ways.
-
We wouldn't recommend attaching other toys to the flirt pole as the handle may fray during play. The Whip It lures are designed with a friction free attachment ring which allows the toy to move freely when attached without damage.
How to Build your Whip It Flirt Pole
Start Here
Lay out your Whip It Pole and Whip It Lure so everything you need is right in front of you.
Screw the Pole Together
Twist the two pole sections together at the centre until they lock into one solid piece.
Attach the Carabiner
Clip the carabiner onto the top of the pole, giving you the anchor point for the lure.
Secure the Whip It Lure
Open the carabiner, slide the lure’s plastic loop inside, then close and screw it tight so it stays put during play.

Our corgi - coming two - has spent her whole life so far trying to chase long sticks, branches, tall grasses, rakes, push brooms, hose water...Her desire to herd is delightful and cool, but also borderline deranged at times. We've used other toys to teach impulse control, but the flirt pole is the first one that seems to channel her full desire. She absolutely loves this thing, which makes a flirt pole session a really excellent reward for other training. It's also a great way to tire her out physically and mentally. I hemmed and hawed about getting this because of the price and shipping costs, but it is absolutely 100 % worth it to me. It has been so great to have a safe, structured outlet to help tame our chasey maniac. If you're tired of your dog herding the broom, this might help.
My pyppy seems to chew the elastic rather than the faux fur when catching it. Which is causing it to frey within a week.
8month GSD
My dog loves this! His eyes get as big as saucers when he sees it!
Really pleased with the superior quality of this product.
It looks like fun but my dog is terrified of it. When it first arrived, he was curious but cautious. I introduced it as suggested and it became more enthusiastic and jumped up to grab it. However, his teeth landed on the metal connector and he freaked out from the sensation and the noise. Now when I pick it up to see if I can interest him, he runs away. Any suggestions gratefully received or return instructions. Gail
Thanks so much for letting us know. I’m really sorry to hear he got spooked — that sudden clink of the connector can be surprising for some dogs, especially if their teeth catch it unexpectedly.
A few dogs do bounce back with a gentle re‑introduction, so if you’d like to try again, you could start by placing the toy on the floor, letting him sniff it at his own pace, and rewarding any calm curiosity. Sometimes removing movement entirely for a session or two helps rebuild confidence.
If he’s still worried, no problem at all — we completely understand. I’ve sent over our returns instructions and returns policy, so you can pop it back to us whenever is easiest.
Well made and are cocker spaniel is enjoying it
My Cockerpoo, Guinness, absolutely loves this new activity toy. He is a young dog with lots of energy. This toy keeps him alert, gives him exercise and provides us both with so much fun.
Great idea and it works well with my 1 year old Cavachon., Bruno. He loves it and gets very excited when I get it out and learned quickly to drop it so i could play again!
Brilliant!
My dogs absolutely love this already.
Very well made, sturdy. It's quite heavy though and my dog hasn't taken to it.
My tiny yorkie is only 2.7kg and this pole feels heavier! The description does not give a weight and I was surprised how heavy it was. Probably great for big strong dogs but it would be good if there was a lightweight version for small dogs
Thanks so much for the feedback. We’ll add the pole weight to the page. The pole’s weight isn’t linked to dog size, as the handler should carry it, but we hear you — and we’ll pass your suggestion for a lighter option to our product team.
Great product my dog loves it and so do I
Love the colours
First purchase from this company, tough high quality toy loved by my cocker spaniel. Will be buying more products
Excellent quality, really tough and durable. The dogs love it!
The border terrier's nuts for this. Literally *obsessed* 👌😆
I have had to make a couple of adjustments via epoxy glue. Twice when we were playing she caught it on the fly and the black metal pole popped apart and was then loose. (two different places)
I squidged epoxy glue in it then stuck it together (needed the vice to keep it tight), then added duct tape on top of the epoxied joints and now it's perfect!
The cockapoo managed to basically chew through the strap, (ON THE FIRST DAY GODDAMN YOU BENJI !!) but that was my fault coz I turned my back on him for five minutes, it ain't supposed to be a chew toy!
Burned off the frayed edges, sewed it together - good as new!
So yeah, this might seem that the quality is compromised but it really isnt. I don't think an indestructible dog toy exists frankly and this one is definitely up there with the best I've had.
Only thing I'd say is it would be good if the nylon strap were longer so you can make a bigger circle for the dogs to chase after the lure in.
All of my dogs love this toy!
My dog absolutely loves these and have really helped with her toy drive on walks
We had already bought from you so we knew the quality would be good. This set is well made and we especiallyfound the training video helpful. Our energetic 2 year old red collie loves it when we get this set out and even tries to get it to give to us to play with.
Our 4 year old chocolate lab really adores his new toy. He only has short plays with it so that we do not put too much stress on his joints.
My spaniel loves to chase this and is very fast! She loves it so much that letting go is still something she debates doing. Good training!
Well made. Easy to put together. Works as described. It’s a bit heavier than expected so better suited to my husbands size hand and arm length than little me
Great for getting Wolfie’s attention from a distance (great back up whilst recall training). He loves playing and we find play a bit, train a bit really works well and keeps him engaged and enthusiastic.
Using this toy with some advice from our dog trainer to help our dog build on his impulse control.
Very well made..
Tried the Whip and Flirt Pole for the first time today and we enjoyed very much, Dougie was a bit confused at first but he soon got the hang of it...chasing it and jumping around soon tired him out, yes very good and pleased I purchased it.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I already told you: I am waiting to use this flirt pole outside when Spring comes. Looking forward to it very much… I hope it teaches Luna to “drop it”
I know I will love it as I love everything I have bought from you even as some items become Luna’s favorites and others less so. BUT here in MAINE we are surrounded by snow and ice and I will wait for Spring before I even open the box.
It would simply not do very well on ice and snow and I prefer todo other things inside.
Our Boxer loves it. I have bought one for my daughter’s dog too!
