Once you’ve treated your dog to a Tug-E-Nuff toy, you’ll want to make sure it stands the test of time. There are a few ways to do this…
Supervised, interactive fun
The first thing to mention is the three magic words - supervised, interactive fun. Tug is a team sport and your Tug-E-Nuff toy is designed for interactive play only. That means your dog shouldn’t have unsupervised access to it or be allowed to use it as a chew toy (Tug-E-Nuff toys are created to be durable, but they definitely aren’t indestructible!).
Pop them in the wash
A muddy, dirty tug toy is a good sign that you and your dog have been having lots of fun - but we understand you might want to wash your tuggy from time to time. Most Tug-E-Nuff toys can be popped in the washing machine on a cool or delicate cycle - but wash separately as colours do run.
If your toy has a squeaker, do not submerge it in water. Instead, wipe it over with a damp cloth.
Never tumble dry your toys - let them air dry and then go over with a slicker brush to bring back the fluffiness!
We include our Complete Guide To Tug with every order from a new customer, which includes our aftercare guidance.
